Hands down, one of the BEST experiences I've ever had! I recently took my very first makeup class at Private Colors, focusing on base makeup — and I am blown away. From the moment I inquired, everything was seamless. Zed, my point of contact, was incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially with me attending from the UK. He made the whole process smooth and stress-free.

But the absolute star of the day was my facilitator, Qing. WOW. She is a gem — so knowledgeable, incredibly patient, warm, and genuinely passionate about what she does. She didn’t just teach; she empowered me. She made me feel seen, heard, and supported every step of the way. Her energy, her kindness, and the way she tailored the lesson to my needs were simply unmatched.

The studio itself was beautiful and well-equipped, and everything felt so professional yet welcoming. I left the class feeling confident, inspired, and already excited for the next one.

Was quick and easy to make appt. Zac was very fast to help confirm make up artist for me. Got Ying Hui for a night make up for a wedding party. she was very good in her make up very detailed and took time to ensure hair and make up are done nicely. Will definitely choose Ying Hui again for my up coming events

I recently completed the 4-day SFX Prosthetic Makeup Course at Private Colors Institute, and I couldn’t be more impressed.
From start to finish, the experience was both inspiring and empowering.

Teacher was not only highly skilled professionals with real industry experience, but also incredibly patient and supportive. They broke down complex techniques into manageable steps, making it easy to follow even for beginners like me. We covered everything from sculpting and molding to applying prosthetics and creating realistic wounds, bruises, and character transformations.

What stood out most was the hands-on approach. Each day was packed with practical sessions that allowed us to apply what we learned immediately. The materials provided were top-notch, and the studio environment was creative, welcoming, and well-equipped.

I really enjoyed this makeup workshop! The artists and the monitor presented themselves so well professional, confident, and stylish. The lessons were clear and very informative. I truly admire their professionalism. The model was patient and super cute too! Overall, the management was amazing. I learned so many detailed techniques about makeup, and I highly recommend working with them or learning from them!
